I've been tagged...

My cousin Sally tagged me, so here goes. (by the way, I love reading all of your blogs. It’s so nice to keep up with you this way!)
In 1998 Matthew and I met, got engaged and got married – we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary this year, which is so crazy to me! Also in 1998 I started working as a research assistant for a political science professor at BYU, Kelly Patterson. I helped run a survey of all the congressional candidates. Working for him really opened doors for me…

5 Things On My To Do List Today...
1-Catch up on sleep – the boys and I were on a red-eye flight back from San Jose, California last night. We visited our friends the Lotts and Matthew’s sister Julie. We had so much fun! But I am soooo tired.
2 – Go to the Merrimack School Board Meeting
3 – Write a story about the Merrimack School Board Meeting for tomorrow’s paper.
4 – Keep the boys from doing any permanent damage to each other.
5 – Watch Lost on ABC’s rerun channel since I missed it while I was in Cali.

If I were a Billionaire...
I would travel…I would give money to my family…I would throw a lot of really fun parties in exotic places and fly all my friends there to enjoy them!... And end world hunger.

3 Bad Habits...
I am always, always late. It even drives me nuts. I procrastinate, which is probably why I am always late. And I often turn on the TV at night instead of doing something productive.

5 Places I've Lived...
1. Thornhill, Ontario. 2. Kingston, Ontario. 3. Lethbridge, Alberta. 4. Arlington, Virginia. 5. Queens, New York. (I could go on and on…)

Things Most People Don't Know About Me...
Hmmmmm. I feel like I’m an open book, but here goes…
I like giving birth (most women think I’m crazy) but I HATE being pregnant (I know you all knew that already). I love to use air quotes, I picked that up from one of my roommates at BYU. It drives me crazy that I didn’t take the chance to travel the world when I had the chance. I cry really easily, always have. That drives me crazy too. I had my motorcycle training license when I was 16, because of a boy. I was a member of the Progressive Conservative Party (in Canada) when I was a teenager and worked on a bunch of campaigns. I always thought I’d stay in Canada and run for office someday, but here I am contemplating U.S. citizenship. And finally, I am in a state of perpetual confusion about how to balance my goals and ambitions with the needs of my family. Most women can relate, right?
